Briggs & Stratton, manufacturers of the popular 206 engine, recently announced another sponsorship agreement with the Route 66 Sprint Series. Series Owner Mark Coats and Announcer Tim Koyen recently appeared on the EKN Face to Face program, produced by Ekartingnews.com. During that conversation, the existence of new deal with Briggs was revealed, with the details to be determined. The details are now finalized and included in this release.

In the confirmation email to the Series, Dan Roche, Director of Motorsports at Briggs & Stratton said, “We’re interested in building the number of 206 racers who either have or had a primary interest in 2-cycle racing. That aspect of our strategy makes Route 66 particularly attractive.” In order to support the Series and expose more potential customers, Briggs & Stratton has agreed to provide the following:

Top Three Drive Free
– One of the four 206 classes will be randomly picked each day to receive free race entries for the Top 3 finishers in that class, in the form of a $125 VISA gift card.
– $125 per driver x 3 drivers each day x 2 days = $750 per event value.

Briggs Powersmart 4500 Drawing
– All event entrants regardless of class entered to win a random drawing for a Briggs Powersmart P4500 Inverter Generator on Sunday. Open to all entrants = Retail Value $1,300
– 4500 Watts, electric start, portable and quiet!

Route 66 would like to thank Briggs for their continued support and the confidence they have in our program. We look forward to awarding the first set of prizes at the first event at Road America on July 3-5. To enter, or learn more, visit the Series website at www.www.route66kartracing.com.
