The opening event of the Route 66 Sprint Series presented by MG Tires and Franklin Motorsports is less than 3 weeks away!  The long winter is finally coming to an end and we know that you are as excited about getting back on the track as we are.  We have a few reminders to help the opening weekend go as smooth as possible.

First and foremost, please register online ahead of time.  You will save $100 for the weekend by pre entering and your packet will be all ready for you when you arrive.  Registration fees do not include pit passes or reserved parking, both of which are purchased from the host track when you arrive.  To reserve a preferred pit space, call the track at (765)987-8090, and they can help you.  You may pay for pit passes, practice, and parking with cash or credit card.

Fuel for 2018 is VP C12 racing gas.  You will buy that at the track from our official fuel vendor, Express Karts and Parts.  Do not buy track fuel and expect to race it, as it may not pass tech.  The only acceptable oil for Route 66 competition is Redline.  Please be prepared to pay cash for your racing fuel, as other options may not be available.

If you are choosing to register at the track, Route 66 accepts cash, credit cards, or checks.

Friday practice is run by the track, and all fees are paid to them.

Styled Aesthetic is our new apparel supplier and they will have t-shirts, hats, hoodies, etc. available for purchase at the track.

You may purchase your racing tires from your preferred supplier, but race tires for the MG Red classes, must be of the newer HZi compound.  The MG Yellow tires have not changed.

If this is your first time racing Route 66, then don’t be afraid to ask questions of series officials, who will be wearing red shirts.  You can ask in Tech, or at the Series Trailer anytime.  They are there to help you.  The first thing you should do is pick up your packet from the trailer on Friday.  You will need your kart tech sheet and other info for the weekend.
