We are just days away from a hot weekend in Elkhart Lake, WI.  Temps are forecasted to be 90 degrees and the racing action will be just as hot!

The 206s will run 87 octane fuel from the BP station on Hwy 23 and Fairview Drive on the edge of Plymouth.  Remember to clear the hose by pumping a little into a vehicle to ensure that you are getting pure 87 out of the hose.  2 cycles will purchase their VP fuel from Express Karts & Parts at the track.

If you are new to Route 66, feel free to stop by the Series Registration Trailer and they can answer your general questions.  If you have questions about tires, fuel, or anything else related to Tech, you should visit the Tech area and they will be glad to help you.  Route 66 does not sell tires or oil, so you may purchase them from your vendor of choice.  Remember that Xeramic is the new Spec Oil for the Series in 2020.

As has been our tradition for so many years, we will have a cookout Saturday afternoon.  Due to food safety concerns, and social distancing, we will likely start serving the food earlier and having smaller groups come up at a time to get served.  All essential safety protocols will be followed by the servers and guests.  If you can spare a few minutes to help with the cookout, please see Mark Coats or stop at the Trailer.

Speaking of Covid19:  Masks are not required to be worn while at Road America, but you are welcome to wear one if you want.  We do ask that you respect other people’s spaces, and social distance when possible.  Wisconsin has very few cases of Covid19 and wants to keep it that way.  If you are sick, or in close contact with someone that is ill, we ask that you and your family stay home from this event.  We all need to take personal responsibility for ourselves and our own family’s safety and health.  If you are worried about anything, you should stay home.  We want you to have fun at this event!

Registration packets will be available for pickup at the Registration Trailer, starting at 10am on Friday, (and possibly Thursday PM if time allows).  You will also pick up your Friday practice band at the Trailer if you bought one online, or you can buy one there.  You can also rent transponders there anytime they’re open, and Saturday morning you can pickup your rental transponder there.

We do our podium presentation for Saturday’s racing at the lunch break on Sunday.  Sunday’s race podium takes place after Tech clears on Sunday.  The Official R66 podium will be setup adjacent to the Series trailers, near the grid entrance.

All entrances to the property should be made via Gate #4 on Hwy J.  This is where you will purchase your wristbands.  If you bought them online, they will have a will-call list for them.  You will need to sign the RA waiver, the COVID waiver, and the pit pass waiver.  Be prepared.  Avoid sending more people to the window than necessary please, just to reduce the crowding.  Adults sign their own waivers and kids are signed for by parents.  If you would like to prefill out the Covid waiver, here is a link to a copy for download.  EVERY PERSON ENTERING must have a waiver completed by them or their parent/guardian (if a minor).
