The Route 66 Sprint Series, in conjunction with the Buckeye Karting Challenge, are proud to present the inaugural KA100 – 206 Sprint Nationals. The Route 66 Sprint Series, the oldest regional traveling sprint series in the country, known for promoting great racing in the Midwest, has teamed up with Ohio’s home for grassroots sprint karting, Buckeye Karting Challenge, to create a brand-new event at the newly reborn Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati (MCC). This event is geared towards a fun, one off event, where racers from the eastern half of the US gather in a good old fashioned throw down. Whether you’re racing out of a pickup bed, or a custom tent, you’re going to have a blast hitting the asphalt at MCC, and competing against the best of the best on these budget friendly powerplants.
A $1,000 purse is up for grabs in the 206 Junior, 206 Senior, KA100 Junior, and KA100 Senior classes. The KA Junior and Senior class winners will also earn a free entry to the upcoming IAME USA Grand Nationals in July. Yamaha Senior competitors will run a 5-lap ‘Dash for Cash’ on Sunday, with the lap leader in each of the 5 laps scoring $100 cash. PLUS, fun prizes for the Micro, Mini, and 206 Sportsman drivers. Over $5500 worth of cash and prizes will be awarded at this event.
