The Route 66 Sprint Series is seeking a scoring system operator (Chief Scorer) for the 2020 season and beyond. This is a paid, independent contractor position and requires overnight travel up to 5 weekends per year. The Chief Scorer’s main responsibilities include operating the Orbits scoring system during race events. Experience operating the Orbits system is not required, as the Series is willing to train the right person. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required in order to perform the job duties. The position of the Chief Scorer is a key role in the production of a successful race event. The job is fast-paced and requires very good communication skills, but its also a lot of fun!
